1. Louise doesn't consider herself an abused spouse, even though she's hurt and miserable most of the time. Still she looks forward to her husband going out of town on "business". Is this a common trait for abused women, or does it apply to abused spouses regardless of sex?

2. Jonathan is a small, geeky boy who is smart enough to be years ahead of his peers. He chooses to hide his intelligence and "remain in his proper grade." Do you think Jonathan's need to stay "under the radar" has anything to do with his homelife?

3. Louise's visions begin after her surgery. Do you think she might have had them before and denied it?

4. Do you, in the end, feel sorry for Dillon, or do you feel he got what he deserved?
